Former NHL hockey players laced up their skates in Cornwall on the afternoon of Sunday December 6th. The NHL Alumni faced the Cornwall Law Enforcement All-Stars at the Civic Complex to help raise money for the Ontario Special Olympics. Over $5000 was raised for this great cause! Some of the stars playing for the NHL Alumni Team included Rick Vaive, Gary Leeman, and pictured above (with some young Cornwall hockey players) Marty McSorley! Tough guy McSorley was a two time Stanley Cup winner with the Edmonton Oilers and he is famous for his role of being "Wayne Gretzky's bodyguard". McSorley also appeared in movies including Bad Boys alongside actor Will Smith.
