The City of Cornwall is seeking residents with an interest in arts and culture to serve on a new Committee that will review the recently-completed Cultural Plan for Cornwall and S, D and G. A total of five members of the arts community and four members of the community-at-large are being sought to serve on the Cultural Plan Committee. They will be joined by representatives of the City of Cornwall as well as neighbouring municipalities. The Committee will be tasked with reviewing the Cultural Plan in detail, inviting dialogue with regional partners and determining the best course of action for the City of Cornwall to take regarding the recommendations contained in the Cultural Plan report. The Cultural Plan is an extensive document that contains a series of recommendations aimed at furthering cultural development in the Cornwall region. Residents were invited to take part in the planning process through public consultation meetings and an online survey.
